“Rob Base Had It Right”

I make hidden artwork. Waterfalls of hand strung beads and crystals must be swept aside to reveal intricately assembled artwork underneath; a collage of felt appliqué, embroidery and found objects. When viewers discover the hidden artwork by searching through the beads they become transformed into active seekers of hidden treasure, explorers of meaning and enlightened by examining what lies behind the veil.
